Salesforce is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Global Accounting group to lead the monthly close, review financial results, and ensure SOX compliance. You will manage a diverse team, drive process improvements, and prepare schedules for 10Q/10K reporting while collaborating with Audit teams and cross‑functional partners.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid accounting foundation, and hands‑on experience with Workday/Oracle ERP, as well as advanced Excel skills to handle large data

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting preferred.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience; accounting field emphasis.
• Proven management experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with Workday Finance, Oracle or other large ERP systems.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large data volumes.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead month‑end close with variance analyses and oversight of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, IT, and Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX; maintain documentation.
• Lead schedules to support 10Q and 10K reporting; ASC 350‑40 and 350‑50 where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors; provide schedules and process overview.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to accounting processes.
