ShipBob is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team in a hybrid Chicago office. You will support transportation initiatives, forecast performance, analyze variances, and prepare board and investor materials.

The role requires collaboration across Finance, Transportation, and the broader organization to drive profitable growth. You will build and refine models, develop budgets, and present financial insights with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3PL or relevant experience in Transportation required.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or another related field.
• Hybrid schedule in Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Analyze transportation initiatives monthly and report drivers and variances to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report weekly performance on Transportation and ship costs.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottoms-up forecasts.
• Develop models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare the annual operating plan with targets and translate to the budget.
• Create monthly/quarterly investor and board presentations with key metrics.
• Analyze operational metrics, margin and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Improve models and automate existing files and processes.
• Work with management to drive strategic improvements.
