ShipBob is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team and support transportation initiatives. You will forecast, analyze variances, and prepare board-ready materials to drive profitable growth. The role partners with FP&A and the Transportation team to improve ship margin analysis and forecasting.

You will report to the FP&A Manager and help develop models, automate processes, and provide strategic insights across the organization in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3PL or transportation experience required.
• 3-5 years of FP&A or related experience.
• Hybrid schedule in our Chicago office.
• Strong financial modeling and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform thorough monthly analysis on transportation initiatives and report drivers to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report on weekly performance and margins.
• Build bottoms-up forecasts with Transportation teams and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop models and processes for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare annual operating plans and translate into budgets.
• Create monthly/quarterly investor and board presentations with key metrics.
• Provide margin analyses and actionable insights to business partners.
