Job summary

The Senior Analyst, Process Improvement - Finance at Cox partners with business stakeholders to drive organizational process excellence through continuous improvement, governance, and data-driven decision making. The role emphasizes financial storytelling, planning, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to standardize data and processes.

It requires strong project management, change leadership, and GAAP proficiency, with a focus on leveraging AI and automation to enhance finance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting or finance experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar OR Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, or 8 years of related work in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
• Experience with continuous improvement and project management; Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP is a plus.
• Experience supporting organizational change, including large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Ability to work across departments and build internal/external stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated financial analysis strength; experience in a Center of Excellence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities of Enterprise Planning and Finance functions.
• Identify best practices, efficiencies, and strategic methods to optimize people, process, and technology across Finance.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive governance and end-to-end process solutions.
• Analyze and support metrics and performance management, driving measurable results.
• Embed continuous process improvement with end-to-end assessment strategies and implementation planning.
• Review and provide feedback for data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and controls.
