Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a Senior Data Engineer for the Finance Technology group to design, build, and optimize data pipelines, data models, and enterprise applications powering financial planning, consolidation, forecasting, and reporting.

The role blends deep data engineering with BI capabilities, collaborating with Finance, FP&A, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights, scalable solutions, and high data quality across Snowflake, AWS, and BI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 4+ years of data engineering/architecture experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering, BI, and enterprise analytics across multiple functional areas.
• Advanced SQL and data integration tools experience (dbt, Informatica).
• Snowflake data modeling, cloud data platforms (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows (Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Informatica).
• Plan, manage, and deliver small to mid-size projects end-to-end; contribute to larger programs.
• Support dashboards and reporting (Power BI, Tableau) to deliver KPI insights and improve processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and data validation; stay current on emerging technologies.
