Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Finance Technology) to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and enterprise applications powering financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting. The role collaborates with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions and ensure data is accessible and trusted.

The Senior Engineer will mentor juniors, contribute to Agile planning, and stay current on emerging data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of data engineering/architecture experience.
• Advanced SQL and data integration tool experience (dbt, Informatica).
• Strong Snowflake data modeling, cloud data platforms (AWS), and BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Ensure data integrity with automated quality checks and validation.
• Plan and deliver small to medium projects end-to-end and mentor juniors.
• Develop dashboards and KPI insights using Power BI/Tableau.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and data validation.
• Collaborate with Finance/FP&A and cross-functional teams to meet reporting needs.
