Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Finance Technology) to design, build, and optimize data architectures that support financial consolidation, planning, and reporting.

The role combines deep data engineering with business intelligence to ensure data is accessible and trusted. You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and cross-functional tech groups, mentoring others and contributing to Agile planning while staying current on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 4+ years of data engineering/architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines/ETL workloads using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Informatica.
• Ensure data integrity with automated quality checks and validation frameworks.
• Lead small to mid-size projects end-to-end, contributing to larger cross-functional programs.
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI/Tableau to deliver KPI insights.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to Agile planning and standards.
