Job summary

GEODIS, a global 3PL, seeks an Operations Supervisor for Final Mile in Lumberton, NC. The role oversees warehouse operations, inventory integrity, and order fulfillment, driving efficiency and service excellence across the distribution center.

Hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one remote day per week, with a focus on leadership and collaboration with customer teams to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present information to managers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments and inventory control.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales on warehouse activities.
• Partners with the customer to maintain high levels of satisfaction and address concerns.
• Ensures safe operation and compliance with sanitation, safety, and security standards.
• Oversees warehouse KPIs to support profitability and productivity.
• Manages staffing, training, and development; interviews and hires.
