Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager Final Mile to lead daily operations for local and regional home delivery networks, manage the fleet, and drive delivery performance. You will focus on minimizing damages, optimizing schedules, and maintaining safety and efficiency across warehouse and transportation activities.

The role requires experience with warehouse and labor management systems, strong problem solving, and the ability to lead, train, and develop staff while collaborating with customer

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for local and regional big and bulky home delivery networks.
• Maintain fleet and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Reduce damage rates, missed delivery windows, and return product costs.
• Track KPIs like On-Time Delivery and revenue per truck.
• Ensure safe operation of the warehouse and compliance with standards.
• Hire, train, and develop Supervisory and hourly staff.
