Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Field Technology Engineer to act as a senior, autonomous anchor for Regional Field Support, integrating with construction operations and resolving tech issues with urgency.

You will manage onsite troubleshooting, hardware swaps, employee onboarding, and field audits while coordinating with central teams to improve remote resolution scripts. Travel within a 2-4 hour radius is required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with jobsite teams under pressure.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-pressure field environment.
• Adheres to IT governance, MDM policies, and hardware standards.

Responsibilities

• Onsite troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, iPads, and mobile devices.
• Maintain ready-to-go hardware replacement kits and swap-first mentality.
• Drive local onboarding, device setup, and login for job-specific apps.
• Review ticket queues daily and perform root-cause analyses.
• Conduct physical site walkthroughs to identify environmental tech hazards.
• Provide remote hands support to centralized network teams.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and Construction Technology teams to improve processes.
