Job summary

SafelyYou is seeking a Field Operations Engineer to remotely install, configure, and support on-premises hardware across client sites in the United States. You will oversee deployments, troubleshoot, and coordinate with Tier 1 and offshore teams to ensure service availability and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on system management, network configuration, Linux administration, and clear communications with customers while maintaining high SLAs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years deploying hardware in customer networks.
• 3+ years Linux system administration.
• Strong in network concepts: DHCP, VLANs, routing, IP addressing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Own installation, configuration, and activation of on‑premises equipment at customer sites.
• Configure and manage out-of-band access.
• Troubleshoot installation and sensor performance issues.
• Ensure end-to-end testing and production readiness.
