Job summary
Electric Power Systems, based in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Sr. Field Technician to lead crews and manage complex testing and maintenance projects at substations. Qualifications
- Minimum degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- NETA III certification required; NETA IV a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of LV/MV/HV equipment.
- Ensure safety policies and PPE usage on job sites.
- Coordinate field activities with engineers and project managers.
- Develop testing plans, procedures, and work scopes for electrical equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting testing, maintenance, and performance.
- Mentor Field Technician I–III and provide technical guidance.
- Interface with customers and represent EPS in the field.
