Job summary

Electric Power Systems, Phoenix, is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews and perform advanced testing and maintenance of substation equipment. You will troubleshoot complex systems, ensure safety compliance, and support engineers and projects during commissioning.

The role requires technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work travel-heavy assignments across North America. A relevant degree and NETA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen for a safety sensitive role.
• Successful background check required.
• Willingness to overtime and travel out of town when needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead field testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Mentor field crews and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers for efficient field operations.
• Interpret test results, document reports, and escalate issues when needed.
• Support commissioning activities and functional testing of systems.
