Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, execute advanced testing and maintenance, and troubleshoot complex substation equipment. You will provide technical leadership, ensure safety compliance, and support engineers during commissioning and critical field operations.

The role requires formal electrical technology education and 5+ years of industry experience. Travel may be required; EPS offers competitive pay, career development, and certification

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Ability to overtime and travel to sites as needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Perform advanced testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems using diagrams and schematics.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor junior technicians and reinforce best practices.
