Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance, and troubleshoot complex substation equipment across North America. The role emphasizes safety compliance, coordination with engineers and project teams, and mentoring junior technicians during commissioning and critical field operations.

Applicants should have a degree in electrical tech or military experience, 5+ years in the industry, and NETA I I certification; travel

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronic technology.
• 5+ years in the electrical testing/maintenance field.
• NETA I & I Certification preferred.
• Industry certs (Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews on testing, inspection, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/control system issues using schematics.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to schedule activities.
