Job summary

Cable One is hiring an Advance Technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot connectivity services across Headend, HFC and fiber networks. You will work with test gear, interpret maps, and ensure customer equipment meets performance standards.

You will splicing and activating devices, perform field surveys, and coordinate with teams to keep services reliable. Overtime, weekends and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or 3–4 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Must complete Sparklight Advanced Technician training within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in Headend, HFC and fiber networks.
• Repair customer-owned equipment and support plant performance.
• Read and interpret system design maps and document as-built changes.
• Splice/terminate coaxial and fiber, install devices, test for performance.
• Survey locations for service readiness and assist in cost estimates.
• Perform underground locates to prevent cable damage.
• Monitor plant for leaks and coordinate signal leakage repairs.
• Train fellow technicians as directed.
