Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Field Technician to install and service customer drops and outlets at homes and small businesses. You will be trained extensively with mentors across the company and provided a company truck and tools, plus uniforms.

The role supports our service areas with reliable on-site work and ongoing learning opportunities. You’ll troubleshoot with electronic test equipment, maintain proper signal levels, and educate customers on equipment upgrades while traveling regionally as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• A good driving record and a valid driver's license in the applying state.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Intermittent travel throughout the region may be required; per diem provided.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience or training.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and suggest upgrades.
• Other duties as needed to support company goals.
