Job summary
Cable One, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to install customer service drops and outlets at homes and businesses. You will use test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot reception issues and repair customer equipment on site.
You will ensure correct signal levels at terminations, help customers understand their services, and look for upgrade opportunities while supporting our brand values in a fast-paced field environment.
Qualifications
- Requires a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Customer service experience or training is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
- Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and repair customer equipment.
- Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each customer termination.
- Educate customers on new/existing equipment and suggest service upgrades as needed.
- Perform other duties to support company goals and values.
