Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical equipment, and support commissioning at client sites across North America.

The role emphasizes safety, mentoring junior technicians, documenting tests and discrepancies, and collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure reliable operation and on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Criminal background check required.
• Ability to work overtime and travel.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead job site safety briefings and enforce PPE usage.
• Supervise field crews and coordinate daily field activities.
• Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of LV/MV/HV equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues from schematics.
• Direct repair and maintenance to restore equipment functionality.
• Support installation and commissioning activities.
• Review field documentation and discrepancy tracking.
• Mentor junior technicians and reinforce best practices.
