Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support customers in the Florence, KY area. The role builds on Level I installer duties, adding advanced skills, leadership, and training responsibilities to guide installation teams and ensure high-quality handoffs.

The Technician II will configure and program devices, commission systems, and deliver basic operations training, while maintaining client satisfaction and project alignment across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade or field installation role.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Basic telecom knowledge including TCP/IP and VoIP.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and interpret project scopes.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I responsibilities with enhanced leadership for installation teams.
• Lead tickets, coordinate with project delivery and customers, and provide updates.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and foster team development.
• Perform FAT testing and oversee system configuration and commissioning.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time project execution.
