Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support the Ohio market, leading installation teams and ensuring quality installations. You will configure and commission diverse systems, perform FAT testing, and deliver customer training at a basic operations level.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and hands-on expertise with nurse call, access, and video surveillance systems, while driving project success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Telecommunication basics (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer duties per documentation to uphold standards.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Lead tasks within the team to deliver quality results.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and solicit feedback for improvement.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers as needed.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue ongoing development in leadership and communication.
• Perform FAT testing of products before installation.
• Configure and commission systems for reliable operation.
• Accept additional duties as required.
