Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to support clients in the Ohio market. This role builds on Level I responsibilities with leadership duties, advanced device configuration, system commissioning, and customer training.

Expect continued professional development and engagement with diverse security and access systems. The position emphasizes leadership, project coordination, and ensuring high-quality installations with strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP).
• Ability to identify and use common low voltage cabling.
• Working knowledge of IT networking, configurations and IP addressing.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities following our documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in handling project and service tickets with timely updates.
• Understand project scopes and service expectations, taking accountability for tasks.
• Lead and delegate tasks within the team; foster collaboration and growth.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and solicit feedback for improvement.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products.
