Job summary

K Group Companies in Ohio is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our installation team. You will carry Level I duties and lead teams, configure and program devices, perform FAT, and train customers at a basic operations level.

You will work on nurse call, card access, and video surveillance projects, coordinate with project managers and customers, and drive quality and safety while mentoring Level 1 technicians and expanding your leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• High and/or low voltage knowledge.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management or supervisor experience.
• Valid US Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer duties following documented standards.
• Lead Level 1 installers and manage service tickets.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Mentor the Level 1 team; promote collaboration and growth.
• Perform FAT testing and system commissioning for projects.
• Provide basic customer training on operations.
