Job summary

K Group Companies is hiring a Field Service Technician Level II to support West Chester, OH installations and service delivery. You will lead installation activities, configure and commission systems, and train customers at a basic operations level.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in construction trades, knowledge of low/high voltage, TCP/IP networking, CCTV and nurse call systems, plus strong communication and leadership skills. DM or apply to join our growing field team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years with a previous construction trade.
• Advance knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.)
• Possesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing
• Ability to read architectural drawings
• Team management/supervisor experience
• Previous experience completing projects within scope
• Previous experience with service ticketing processes
• Required 1+ year of previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have valid US Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities, following our documentation to uphold high standards.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in handling project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Lead assigned tasks and deliver outstanding results.
• Mentor Level 1 installers when leading a team.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers as needed.
• Work with nurse call, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue leadership and communication development opportunities.
• Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) of products before installation.
• Configure and commission systems to provide reliable, fully operational solutions.
• Accept additional duties as assigned.
