Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Senior Field Technical Services Engineer to provide core engineering competency and front-end technical interface with customers across markets. The role emphasizes cradle-to-grave support, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality technical outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading technical activities, developing test plans for composite materials, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the composites or end-use industry.
• Exposure to Material & Process, Design, or Manufacturing Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and cross-functional teams to build strong relationships at multiple levels.
• Lead and/or contribute to customer technical activities and projects across key markets.
• Develop and implement composite test plans to meet vehicle and application requirements.
• Provide assessment of customer issues and opportunities and propose solutions.
• Develop and deepen technical understanding of Syensqo materials and processes at customers and in application spaces.
• Design, develop, and improve composite manufacturing processes to meet customer needs.
• Lead project management activities with planning, execution, and reporting.
• Travel within North America as required to support customers.
