Job summary

Terradepth is seeking a Field Service Engineer — Customer & Technical Liaison for a remote role with 60–70% travel. You will bridge customers and internal teams, supporting deployments, troubleshooting, and translating feedback into actionable requirements across Engineering, Product, Project Management, Operations, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years in field engineering, systems engineering, or similar.
• Active clearance TS‑SCI preferred for government/federal contracting work.
• Experience in early-stage, fast-moving companies with cross-functional responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of both hardware and software systems.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between Terradepth and customers.
• Participate in sales and customer calls to capture requirements.
• Translate feedback into actionable internal requirements for engineering and product teams.
• Maintain relationships with customers throughout deployment and support lifecycles.
• Support field deployments, demonstrations, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Communicate product issues and feature requests to engineering and product teams.
• Track customer commitments and deliverables with project management.
• Collaborate with sales to align customer expectations and capabilities.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for product or process improvements.
• Own customer service records, runbooks, and training materials.
