Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Composite Materials and Process Engineer to support our growth in the Americas within aerospace. You will develop advanced composite materials and manufacturing technologies, align with market trends, and lead cross-functional efforts from material selection to part design to deliver viable solutions.

You'll engage with customers as the primary technical interface, promote Syensqo products, and advise on material and process selection for new applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in aerospace composite structures work experience.
• Experience reviewing designs for manufacturability and specifications.
• Experience with R&D of composite materials and processing technologies, including simulation.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry programs, quality systems and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance new composite materials and manufacturing technologies aligned with market trends and customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional development to integrate material selection, processes and part design.
• Identify technology gaps and advise on future product and process priorities.
• Serve as primary technical interface with customers, acting as the voice of the customer.
• Promote Syensqo products and technologies, articulating value propositions to customers.
• Advise on material and process selection for new composite applications.
