Job summary

Aventiv Technologies seeks an on-site technician to install, repair and support telecommunications equipment, networking devices and related hardware in correctional facilities. The role includes field service, training, and some administrative duties to ensure inventory accuracy and timely issue resolution.

Travel is required across assigned locations, with potential hybrid onsite/roving duties. Candidates should have hands-on telecom experience, Windows OS, VOIP, and network cabling skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of installation, repair and maintenance of telecom and networking devices.
• Experience with Windows OS, VOIP, Adtran Fortinet, AOS, Cisco IOS and wireless tech.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, programs and installs telecom hardware and networking gear in correctional facilities.
• Repairs/installs phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs, tablets and related equipment on site.
• Support site surveys, pre-bid meetings and sales conferences when needed.
