Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a field service technician to repair, install and maintain telecommunications hardware and networking equipment in correctional facilities across designated areas. You will troubleshoot and support tablets, kiosks, video terminals and related devices, with travel to client sites as needed.

The role involves working with dispatchers, providing customer training and ensuring inventory control, wiring, and testing procedures meet standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of installation, repair and maintenance of telecom and networking devices.
• Experience with Windows OS, VOIP, Adtran, Fortinet, AOS, Cisco IOS and wireless tech.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, programs and installs telecom hardware and networking equipment in correctional facilities.
• Repairs/installs phones, kiosk, video terminals, tablets and related equipment.
• Provide site surveys, pre-bid support and sales conference assistance.
