Job summary

Aventiv Technologies is seeking a field service technician to repair, install, and support telecom and networking equipment across locations. You will handle devices such as phones, kiosks, video terminals, and tablets, ensuring proper inventory and operational readiness.

The role requires knowledge of telephony, network cabling, and related standards, with travel across sites. Strong communication and self-starting skills are essential for success in this dynamic field service position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Windows OS, VOIP, Adtran Fortinet, AOS, Cisco IOS and wireless tech.
• Telephony experience including pulling/terminations and troubleshooting wiring.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, programs and installs telecom hardware and networking gear in facilities.
• Install phones, kiosks, tablets and related equipment within assigned area.
• Provide site surveys, pre-bid input, and support for conferences.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and provide arrival/departure ETA.
• Educate customers and assist support with product info and training.
