Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced demolition supervisor to lead field teams on heavy industrial projects. You will coordinate crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across all project phases.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to interpret complex plans and regulations. Union-based work with travel across the Midwest; benefits include 401k and EAP.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of heavy industrial demolition experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER certificate, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, First Aid.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, plans, specifications, and legal documents.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; iPad and iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field personnel and union crews to meet project objectives.
• Schedule subcontractors and monitor their work to align with subcontracting agreements.
• Maintain safe working environment and enforce safety procedures and policies.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and regular site meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality compliance by inspecting field work and reviewing manufacturer drawings.
