Job summary

Veit seeks a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to finalize bids and win demolition projects, directing large contracts from inception to completion. The role involves scheduling, cost control, and coordination between field, office, and clients to ensure profitability and compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing full estimates on complex work, managing change orders, and overseeing invoicing with project coordinators. Occasional travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 15+ years estimating and managing large complex projects in related scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all management levels and external partners.
• Knowledge of bidding and project management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Finalize bids and proposals for demolition projects.
• Lead overall project direction from start to finish, including scheduling and cost containment.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and ensure communication between project managers, field, and office staff.
• Manage invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and change orders to protect profitability.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure EEO/DBE compliance.
