Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Superintendent II in Colorado Springs to lead on-site operations, ensure safety, manage schedules, budgets and contractor coordination. You will work closely with the Project Manager and design team on projects generally under $75 million, maintaining quality and clear communication with owners and trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Solid understanding of plans, specs, and quality control in construction projects.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain certification and strong safety leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction activities and coordinate field operations.
• Direct safety programs, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure IIF culture on projects.
• Review plans and schedules; manage cost codes, budgets, and production units.
• Lead coordination with trade contractors and owners/design team; ensure quality and schedules.
• Develop site safety plans and manage inspections with officials; document changes.
