Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a Wyoming-based project. You will oversee on-site operations, coordinate trade contractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety compliance with our incident-and-injury-free culture.

You will collaborate with owners and design teams, develop site safety plans, and drive quality through proactive field leadership and planning. This role requires deep construction experience and OSHA-30 readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of related experience.
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCad.
Solid understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
Proven results in driving safety initiatives and compliance.
Current or ability to become OSHA-30 certified and meet company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Take personal responsibility for on-site safety within an IIF culture.
Manage on-site construction activities and coordinate trade contractors.
Understand plans, specs, and drawings; maintain updated records.
Schedule, procure tools/equipment/materials; train crews and conduct toolbox talks.
Manage project schedules, budgets, cost codes, and production units.
Ensure project quality per AP quality programs; monitor compliance.
Develop site safety plans and lead safety meetings; document incidents.
Collaborate with owner/design team and other departments throughout pre-construction and execution.
