Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Superintendent II to lead on-site construction activities, manage field operations, ensure safety, and coordinate with owners, design teams and trade contractors on projects typically under $75 million.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field with 6+ years of related experience, proficiency with Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel and AutoCAD, and a proven track record in safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Proven results in driving safety initiatives and compliance.
• Ability to climb, walk, lift, carry, push, and complete repetitive motion activities throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an incident and injury free culture.
• Manage on-site construction activities.
• Understand plans, specifications, and details; maintain updated drawings.
• Schedule and procure tools, equipment, and materials; train team on tools and processes; conduct toolbox talks.
• Provide information in start-up and close-out meetings.
• Ensure trade contractors meet schedule and quality requirements; maintain good relationships.
• Manage project schedules, cost codes, budgets, and production units.
• Maintain site productivity and reporting.
• Develop site quality plans; monitor compliance and performance.
