Job summary

DHL Group in Florida is seeking a qualified Field Service Supervisor to coordinate parcel movement by air and ground across import/export operations. You will supervise airport ramp activities, back-office staff, and liaise with US Customs and DHL Imports to ensure accurate processing.

Expect to lead a unionized team of 8-12, manage KPIs and budgets, and drive process improvements while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining productivity standards in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 2 years’ experience in related field, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Professional certification required in some areas
• Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets Driving Privileges standards
• Must be 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Candidate must pass pre-employment background, drug, and medical physical screening

Responsibilities

• Expedites the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring client satisfaction is achieved and company policies followed
• Supervises day-to-day airport ramp operations; loading/unloading of cargo aircraft and coordination with carriers
• Supervises warehouse sort operations for international shipments
• Supervises back office staff, monitors flights, updates network and manages contingencies
• Works with US Customs and DHL Imports clearance department to ensure correct processing
