Job summary

MITER Brands in Tucson, AZ is hiring for a Field Service Technician with 5–6 years of service experience. The role covers diagnosing complex window/door issues, performing advanced repairs, and mentoring junior techs. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Pay ranges $30–$37/hr, depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on product feedback and field excellence.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and resolve complex service issues for windows/doors.
• Perform advanced inspections, repairs, retrofits and adjustments.
• Strong communication in escalated customer situations.
• Driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex and escalated window and door service issues.
• Perform advanced inspections, repairs, retrofits, and adjustments with minimal guidance.
• Serve as a senior field expert for high-visibility customer situations.
• Clearly communicate findings, solutions and preventative recommendations.
• Mentor Field Service Technicians I & II through coaching and ride-alongs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and customer care teams.
• Provide feedback on product performance and recurring field issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and parts tracking.
• Keep service vehicle, tools and inventory field-ready.
• Uphold safety standards and best practices on every jobsite.
• Recommend product upgrades and preventative maintenance when appropriate.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
• Stay current through ongoing training and advanced certifications.
• Other duties may be assigned.
