Job summary

ABB seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to support customers across the Western United States with electro-mechanical skills and a strong focus on customer service. The role requires autonomy and delivering outstanding service experiences, reporting to the Director of Service Operations, L&W Service Products US.

The position involves preventive maintenance, installation, calibration, and on-site/remote support for testing instruments, with travel 65-70% within the territory and occasional

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical or equivalent (or military experience) with 5+ years field service experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience or HS diploma with 7+ years experience.
• Experience with network support, computer repair and OS restoration; software configuration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, corrective service and telephones.
• On-site and remote access support for laboratory and production process testing instruments.
• Service activities must be performed within ISO certified policies and documented accordingly.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training as needed to meet customers' needs.
