Job summary

ABB | Senior Field Service Technician opportunity supporting customers in the Western United States, based in Oregon with significant travel. The role requires strong electro-mechanical skills, plus excellent communication and customer service to deliver exceptional service experiences.

Candidates should have 5+ years in field service (or equivalent), be able to travel 65–70%, and be eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years field service experience; 3+ years with Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years with HS diploma.
• Willingness to travel up to 65–70% domestically and internationally; valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, installation and corrective service.
• Provide on-site and remote support for instruments; ensure ISO procedures are followed.
• Maintain documentation and participate in ongoing training as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure outstanding service experience.
