Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, diagnose, repair and maintain electrical equipment across customer sites in the U.S. This site-based role involves occasional nonstandard hours and regional travel, with an 40-hour base and overtime potential.

Responsibilities include pre-site activities, field modifications, and collaboration with customers and partners. Training is provided, including 8 weeks at a Dallas facility, followed by ongoing online and hands-on

Qualifications

• Associates degree or trade/vocational cert, military training or similar experience in electrical disciplines.
• Reading blueprints/schematics is required.
• Proficient with AC/DC power concepts and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners and support teams to solve issues.
• Prepare field service and expense reports, as well as startup data sheets.
• Work with Manager/Regional Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing training on products in field and classroom.
