Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites. This site-based role includes occasional overnight travel and a 40‑hour guarantee with overtime.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot AC/DC power systems, and collaborate with customers, electricians and project teams. Training is provided, with placement in a dynamic services environment in the US.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree, trade or vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS and power distribution equipment.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• English proficiency for customer and team communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
• Adherence to safety procedures and ability to identify hazards.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site/startup/repair and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets.
• Collaborate with management on escalated issues.
• Continuing training on products and in classrooms.
