Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in the United States to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment. This is a site-based role with occasional nonstandard hours and a 40-hour base plus overtime, including travel to customer sites as needed.

You will receive extensive training, work with cross-functional teams, and complete field service reports while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade/vocational cert or Military training in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and schematics.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment.
• Problem solve with customers and teams to resolve issues.
• Complete field service and expense reports, PM, startup data sheets.
• Travel regionally or nationwide for support; overnight travel may be required.
• Write service reports and respond to customer questions.
