Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring a Field Service Representative to install, start up, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment at customer sites across the U.S. This on-site role includes a rigorous 8-week in-person training in Dallas, TX, followed by ongoing field support and remote training.

You'll work with service teams to solve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires reading schematics, understanding AC/DC power, and 2+ years in field service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade/vocational certification or military training in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC and DC power and components.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS and power distribution equipment.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Safety procedures knowledge (lock out/tag out) and safety trainings.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Resolve issues with customers, electricians, and project teams.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; manage expenses.
• Collaborate with District Service Manager on complex escalations.
• Participate in ongoing training and on-the-job learning.
