Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites. The role includes field service reporting, collaboration with customers and partners, and on-site startup and maintenance tasks.

This site-based position in the US involves occasional nonstandard hours and regional travel. Training is provided, with a 40-hour guarantee of work and extensive on-the-job mentoring and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, or military training or equivalent experience in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and electrical components.
• 2+ years in field service or related electrical/electronics work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and startup data sheets.
• Escalate and resolve complex issues with leadership and regional teams.
• Engage in ongoing training and product knowledge development.
