Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative in Dallas, TX to install, startup, diagnose, repair and maintain electrical equipment at customer sites. You will collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

This site-based role includes extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package. Expect 40-hour base plus overtime with opportunities to travel and grow within the U.S. Services team.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS systems and power distribution equipment
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and electrical drawings
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power principles and related components
• Safety training and adherence to safety procedures (NFPA-70E/OSHA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians and project teams
• Complete field service reports, expense reports and data sheets
• Collaborate with District Service Manager to resolve escalated issues
• Travel locally or countrywide as needed and mentor junior technicians
