Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform installation, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites in the U.S. This site-based role includes overtime and regional travel as needed, with a 40-hour guarantee.

You will work with customers, electricians, sales partners, and District Service teams to ensure reliable power distribution and critical infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training in electrical disciplines.
• Read blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent.
• Adheres to safety procedures and PPE.
• NFPA-70E or OSHA experience preferred.
• Good driving and communication skills (verbal/written).
• Experience reading schematics, drawings, and operation manuals.
• Ability to write service reports, correspondence and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in varied environments.
• English proficiency.
• MS Office and company digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, and District Service teams.
• Complete field service and expense reports, maintenance data sheets.
• Collaborate with Manager or Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Engage in ongoing training and product education in field and classroom.
