Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking a Service Technician to install, service, and support injection molding equipment at customer sites. You will train customers and provide ongoing technical assistance to ensure optimal machine performance.

The role requires hands-on technical skills across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Travel is required to serve customers across the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or process work.
• Experience as Field Service Injection Molding Technician/Service Engineer.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for electrical/electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and robots on site.
• Perform safety checks and site inspections on equipment.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Order parts and diagnose control-system problems for repairs.
• Train other technicians and customer operators in safe operation.
