Job summary
ENGEL North America is seeking a Service Technician to join our Service Department. The role focuses on installing and servicing injection molding equipment at customer sites, with opportunities to train customers and support installations.
Applicants should have 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate/Bachelor degree preferred; multiple benefits are provided
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Injection Molding troubleshooting or as Field Service Injection Molding Technician/Service Engineer.
- Knowledge of blueprints and schematics for electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with injection molding machines and ability to train customers/operators.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
- Performs safety checks on equipment and installs software/hardware.
- Educates customers on equipment and operation.
