Job summary

ENGEL North America is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service injection molding equipment at customer sites. You will provide on-site training and support, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction across North America.

The role requires strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems, with the ability to educate customers and colleagues. Local travel and a valid passport are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or as a Field Service Injection Molding Technician/Service Engineer.
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic or software components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and ensures proper operation.
• Educates customers on equipment and operation.
• Manages resolution of customer issues and coordinates replacement parts.
• Instructs other technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safe operations.
