Job summary

ENGEL Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician for Southern California to install and service equipment at customer sites, provide timely training, and support with diagnostics and repairs.

The role requires hands-on expertise with injection molding systems, strong communication, and the ability to train customers. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) with match, PTO, and travel compensation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with injection molding machines, well rounded skill set in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, computer and able to provide basic training for customers and employees.
• Knowledge and understanding of injection molding process.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots at customer sites, including tests and inspections of components.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and ensures proper operation.
• Educates customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Manages resolution of customer issues and orders/replaces parts as necessary.
• Trains other Service Technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safe operations.
